The list of such companies is published on the official website of the department.

It includes 13 foreign companies that own 22 information resources.

As recalled in the RKN, the law "On the activities of foreign persons in the information and telecommunication network" Internet "on the territory of the Russian Federation" was adopted on July 1.

According to the document, foreign Internet companies with a daily audience of over 500 thousand users must open their authorized representative offices in Russia.

In the summer, President Vladimir Putin signed a law under which large foreign IT companies will be required to open branches or representative offices in Russia.
