The national pavilion of Uzbekistan at Expo 2020 Dubai aims to promote Uzbek art, as well as present the country's scientific and economic achievements in recent years, cultural heritage and tourism potential, in addition to the development plan for the new Uzbekistan, and investment opportunities in the country.

During the exhibition, the Foundation for the Development of Art and Culture, the official partner of the cultural program of the Uzbekistan Pavilion at Expo, will present a number of events in partnership with the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan, with the aim of enhancing the cultural and tourism potential of Uzbekistan on the international stage.

On November 27, he will present the international premiere of the ballet "Lazy - Dance of Soul and Love" at "Dubai Opera".

The audience will be presented with a completely new interpretation of Khwarizm dance, with a presentation of the indigenous traditions of the Uzbek people.

For the first time, the cultural heritage and history of one of Uzbekistan's most popular dances will be presented on stage at Dubai Opera, a multi-form performing arts centre.

The history of “Lazji” dates back to three thousand years, and this ancient dance of Khwarazm is shrouded in mysteries and legends, and embodies ancient folk wisdom, and its name itself means “soul and love”, and it is directed by choreographer, Raimundo Rebek.

On December 12, 2019, the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage inscribed the “Khwarazm-Lazji dance” on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The famous pianist, Behzod Abdul Rahimov, will also play on the Jubilee Park Theater at “Expo 2020 Dubai”, also on the 27th of this month, and he will present a program of classical pieces by (Liszt, Beethoven, Chopin, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky).
