More than 50 million Russians have already been vaccinated with the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine, in other countries there are about 120 million, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Denis Logunov, deputy director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
“Now in Russia over 50 million have already received this vaccine, in the world it is even more: in those countries that have recognized it and are using it, over 100 million, somewhere under 120 million already,” Putin said.
He added that this is "great material to analyze" the effectiveness of the vaccine.
Earlier, Putin said that he had been revaccinated against the coronavirus with Sputnik Light.
