“Three participants in the riots received gunshot wounds,” the city police said in a statement.
Law enforcers are investigating under what circumstances the police opened fire and whether the protesters were injured by police bullets.
Earlier in the Dutch Rotterdam, police detained 51 protesters against the introduction of new restrictive measures due to the coronavirus pandemic.
