The open theater at the Public Library of Egypt on Rams Road in Luxor, Egypt, hosted the closing ceremony of the Luxor Festival of Arab Poetry, in its sixth session, organized by the House of Poetry in Luxor, in the presence of Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Owais, Head of the Department of Culture in Sharjah, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs in the Department Muhammad Ibrahim Al Qasir, and Director The House of Poetry in Sharjah Muhammad Al-Buraiki, the Director of the House of Poetry in Luxor Hussein Al-Qabahi, and a number of officials from the Egyptian cultural institutions. The celebration began with poetry readings (Badia poets from the governorates of Sinai and Salloum), moderated by the poet Mahmoud Marei, and poets Hamdan Al-Tarabin, Salim Suleiman Abu Daqqa, Alaa Al-Ramahi, Abdel-Qader Tarif, Attia Abu Marzouqa participated in it.

A poetry evening was held in which poets Ahmed Shalaby, Jamal Fathi, Ezzat Al-Tiri, Fathi Abdel-Samie, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim Al-Hanati, moderated by the poet Bakri Abdel Hamid, and the poems that were recited included emotional, social and patriotic themes, with various creative methods and schools, followed by the presentation of various musical plays. .

Al Owais honored the participants in the festival by distributing certificates of appreciation and shields to the Arab Poetry Festival in its sixth session.
