Hear the traveler Gina Karim and Västtrafik's deputy business manager Anders Klint in the clip above.

When Gina Karim was going to work on Tuesday morning by bus, something seemed completely inexplicable.

The glass window that separates the front passengers towards the front door went into thousands of pieces and Gina got broken glass over her.

- Most of the time, the event itself was unpleasant, I was shocked and terrified, says Gina Karim.

"Could have led to someone's death"

Gina is feeling well today despite the circumstances.

After the incident, she suffered a sprained thumb, cuts on her hands and scalp and tension in her neck.

- I managed this time but you never know.

There are mostly older people and small children in front.

It could have led to someone's death, says Gina Karim.

The buses continue to roll

According to Anders Klint, Västtrafik's deputy business manager, they take the events seriously and have, together with the transport company, initiated an investigation to review what went wrong.

- This is not an event that is common.

We may see it as a one-off event, but we must complete the investigation and see what it shows.

We see no reason to take the buses out of service at the moment.
