After four years of construction, the new town hall is ready and Uppsala municipality has begun to move in.
The new town hall is built on the same site as the old one in the corner between Kungsgatan and Vaksalagatan.
- I have worked with this project for seven years and now it is really on the finish line.
It feels fantastic that the house is finally ready, says Anna Malmquist, project manager Uppsala municipality.
When the move is completed in January next year, 1,650 people will work in the town hall.
The building opens to the public on November 23.
