November 19, 2021 The vaccine passport - or rather the GreenPass, as it is known in Italy - is substantially widely supported in Europe, according to a recent YouGov survey cited by the Guardian. This is the annual project "YouGov-Cambridge GlobalismProject" according to which the majority of respondents, in all 10 European countries considered in the sample, support the idea of a mandatory vaccination passport for crowded events. As for access to bars, restaurants and gyms, a greater number of respondents are in favor of those who oppose it, not for all 10 countries but for most of them.

YouGov research shows that vaccination passport support for entering major sporting events or concerts reaches 57% in France, 59% in Germany, 62%% in Italy and 64% in Spain and Great Britain while in Poland. we go down to 45%. Outside Europe, support for the GreenPass is 51% in the US and 69% in Australia.

A lower, but equally substantial, support is found in the vaccination passport support for other activities such as travel, bars, cafes and gyms with a percentage variation ranging from 41%, in Germany and the United Kingdom, up to 56% of the 'Italy.

The results found in the United States are the mirror of those in Europe.

The numbers arriving from Russia are negative, where there is low support for the vaccination passport in all cases except for travel abroad.

At the same time, however, the survey also reveals a growing frustration among citizens, both towards the performance of governments in dealing with the pandemic, and towards anti-covid restrictions in general.
