China News Service, Suzhou, November 18 (Reporter Zhong Sheng) From November 18 to 20, the 20th China (Suzhou) Electronic Information Expo was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu.

At the supporting forum of the China Telecom Expo, experts and enterprises from both sides of the strait jointly discussed the intelligent transformation and digital transformation of enterprises.

Yang Zhiping, deputy mayor of Suzhou, said in his speech that in recent years, Suzhou has accelerated the pace of intelligent transformation and digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.

Since the beginning of this year, Suzhou has carried out more than 8,000 intelligent transformation and digital transformation projects, benefiting more than 5,000 industrial enterprises, and Taiwanese enterprises have also participated in them.

A large number of cross-strait enterprises and merchants exhibited products, exchanged experience, and reached cooperation in the e-Expo.

Yang Zhiping said that with the theme of "Digital Manufacturing, Sharing the Future" as the theme, this year's Suzhou Telecom Expo will closely focus on the superior industries of Suzhou and Taiwan, closely link cross-strait cooperation and exchanges, and further deepen the integration and development of cross-strait electronic information industries.

He hoped that entrepreneurs from both sides of the Taiwan Strait can make full use of the e-Expo, a platform for cooperation and exchange, to actively seize opportunities for industrial upgrading and development, and to take advantage of the trend to promote the intelligent transformation and digital transformation of enterprises.

Li Peigen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chairman of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, gave a keynote speech on "Several Issues Needing Attention in the Digital Transformation of Enterprises".

He believes that Taiwanese enterprises have taken the lead in digital transformation and have a lot of good experience. Enterprises on both sides of the strait should strengthen exchanges, learn from, and learn from each other to achieve complementary advantages.

The Kunshan factory of Taiwanese firm Wistron Group was awarded the “Lighthouse Factory” for digital manufacturing in March this year.

According to Zhou Hongren, general manager of Wistron Global Manufacturing, China now has more than one-third of the world's lighthouse factories, which fully reflects the government's strong encouragement and continuous promotion of the digital transformation of enterprises.

At present, Wistron has specially established Wisdom Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., dedicated to integrating digital ecological chain platform resources, providing technical services for the industrial chain, and improving digital and intelligent capabilities.

By cooperating with the Kunshan Municipal Government, we will create Kunshan's "Smart Transformation and Digital Transformation" technology ecosystem, and hope to radiate the Yangtze River Delta region and drive the overall rapid upgrade of the industrial chain.

Zhou Hongren revealed that the company has assisted more than 300 industry chain companies to reduce costs and improve quality, increase efficiency and reduce inventory, and coordinate the promotion of supporting services for the digital industry.

As a "lighthouse", it "illuminates the way forward" for the digital transformation of enterprises on both sides of the strait.

At the beginning of this year, Suzhou Industrial Park released the "Intelligent Manufacturing Partnership Program", and Taiwanese company AU Optronics was also one of the participants.

AUO Digital, a subsidiary of AUO Optoelectronics, has established an industrial interconnection platform to share and empower externally.

According to Zhao Lina, general manager of AUO Digital, the company has served more than 130 companies of various types in Suzhou, including nearly 30 Taiwanese companies, and has joined hands with mainland companies to promote 5G+ industrial Internet smart upgrades.

Zhao Lina said that the company has also received strong assistance from the Suzhou local government in the process of intellectual transformation.

For example, the Suzhou Industrial Park has formulated and issued the country's first electronic labor contract standard. Employers can complete labor contract information submission with one click, complete social insurance registration simultaneously, and realize "7*24 hours" "no-face" services.

With this item alone, AUO saves more than 1 million yuan every year.

"We will also continue to promote the digital transformation of HR and other fields, and introduce our experience to other parts of the mainland for reference and achieve common progress." Zhao Lina said.
