“There was a proposal to rename Lagernaya Street into a street named after the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Yevgeny Zinichev, who was tragically killed in September this year, with the installation of a memorial plaque.
I approved this proposal, ”reads the page of the head of Chechnya on VKontakte.
According to him, Zinichev was "an extremely courageous person, a real professional."
In September, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree posthumously conferring the title of Hero of Russia to Zinichev.
The minister died in the exercise, trying to save the director Alexander Melnik who had fallen from the ledge.
