Figliuolo - speaking at a conference organized by the National Federation of orders of surgeons and dentists (Fnomceo) - added: "87% of Italians have had at least one administration but we are not yet at the end: the vaccination campaign continues with third dose and yesterday we exceeded 140 thousand administrations ".

In Italian intensive care units, the majority of hospitalized patients - 95% - are not vaccinated, but the novelty is that "fragile vaccinated people who were immunized at the beginning of the vaccination campaign are starting to grow", says Antonino Giarratano, new president of the Italian Society. of anesthesia, analgesia, resuscitation and intensive care (Siaarti) who adds: "Until a few weeks ago in our wards they were almost all unvaccinated, with 5% of vaccinated fragile. In the last two weeks - in different areas of the country - by data from our Siaarti monitoring system: the vulnerable vaccinated are growing, with regional differences ranging from 5 to 15% ".
