Sherman said this at a press conference following talks with First Deputy Foreign Minister of Japan Takeo Mori and First Deputy Foreign Minister of South Korea Choi Jong Gong.

“We discussed our shared commitment to the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

As we have stated publicly, the United States does not harbor hostile intentions towards the DPRK, ”Sherman quoted TASS as saying.

She stressed that "diplomacy and dialogue are central to achieving the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and establishing a lasting peace."

In October, US special envoy for the DPRK, Song Kim, announced Washington's commitment to dialogue with the DPRK without preconditions.
