The six new ambulance aircraft are jet aircraft of the PC-24 model and together have cost the regions SEK 700 million.

They will provide a better working environment for nurses and doctors as well as better care for the people of Norway.

During a transitional period, the new operator Kommunalförbundet Swedish Ambulance Flight (KSA) and the old operator Babcock share the assignments in Norrbotten, among other places.

Concerned

On Tuesday evening, KSA would pick up a patient in Gällivare with a PC-24.

But based on the values of the friction orbit, the plane could not land.

Babcock was given a chance to change things around.

- This is absolutely worrying, says Per Markusson, Region Norrbotten's county manager for airborne ambulance care.

Markusson has been in contact with KSA and at lunchtime on Wednesday he received a text message that the problem should be solved.

SVT Norrbotten is looking for KSA for a comment.
