The party's Twitter account states that Bahcheli has been working on the map for a long time.

Some countries are marked in red on the map, for example Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Some regions of Russia, as well as parts of the Balkans and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in China, are colored orange and yellow.

What these colors mean is not specified.

In February, the Turkish state-run TV channel TRT1 aired a map showing Turkey's expansion forecast by Stratfor.

In particular, the forecast assumes that by 2050 Turkey will expand its sphere of influence to "the Balkans, North Africa, the Middle East, Transcaucasia, Central Asia, as well as part of Russia."
