Huang Xilian said that as an important part of the relationship between China and the Philippines, law enforcement cooperation has played an important role in the development of bilateral relations.

In recent years, with the strong support and cooperation of the Philippine Immigration Bureau, the law enforcement agencies of the two countries have carried out fruitful cooperation in cracking down on cross-border network telecommunications fraud crimes and arresting Chinese fugitives, and achieved fruitful results.

Especially since September 2019, the immigration, police and other law enforcement agencies of China and the Philippines have jointly carried out four operations, successfully arresting more than 1,500 criminal suspects and fugitives, and severely hitting the arrogance of criminals.

During this process, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines and the Philippines Immigration Bureau established a close cooperative relationship.

The law enforcement agencies of the two countries urgently need to strengthen cooperation and jointly respond.

China is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with the Philippine Immigration Bureau and other law enforcement agencies to severely crack down on various illegal and criminal activities and jointly safeguard the interests of the two countries and the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.
