"A British F35 pilot from the aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth ejected during a regular flight over the Mediterranean Sea this morning," reads a Twitter post.
As specified, an investigation has been launched into the incident.
In August, the MiG-29 plane crashed in the Astrakhan region.
As a result of the incident, the pilot was killed.
