14 killed in Sudan protests

14 people were killed today, Wednesday, in demonstrations in Sudan, according to what was announced by the Central Doctors Committee, a union that supports civilian rule. Among the dead were 11 in the northern suburb of Khartoum, where hundreds of protesters continue to move.

Doctors stated that the majority of the dead and dozens of wounded were shot in the Sudanese capital, targeted in the "head, chest and neck."

A previous toll indicated the killing of ten protesters.
