This was stated by the chief commandant of the Polish police Jaroslav Szymchik on the air of the Polsat TV channel.

“The district prosecutor’s office in Sokolka made a decision to open a criminal case on suspicion of an attack on security officials,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He added that law enforcement officers are collecting items that have flown over the border and continue to inspect them on the spot.

Earlier it became known that seven police officers of Poland were injured as a result of clashes with migrants on the border with Belarus on November 16.

An employee of the Polish border service was also injured.

The migrants broke the fence and threw stones at the border guards.
