During the periodic media briefing to introduce the latest developments and cases related to the emerging coronavirus in the country, the UAE government announced the update of the protocol for operating educational facilities, the return of physical education in all educational facilities, and the restoration of their full capacity, in addition to restoring the absorptive capacity of buses in educational facilities by 100%.
The official spokesman for the education sector in the country, Hazza Al-Mansoori, stressed that the last period showed the compatibility and harmony of the education sector, at the local and national levels, to ensure the return of students to the study seats in presence, noting that the efforts and national readiness were high, and characterized by flexibility, thanks to coordination and communication. Continuing with the concerned sectors, while the state witnessed a significant decrease in the number of injuries, which is reflected in the success of the health sector strategy in managing the health pandemic, to ensure the health and safety of society in all its categories.
He announced the update of the protocol for operating educational facilities during the pandemic, indicating that this update will be applied at the beginning of the next semester (the second semester), after studying the epidemiological situation with the health sector, and its impact on the education sector.
Al-Mansoori revealed that the update in the protocol includes the return of attendance education in all educational facilities, and the restoration of its full absorptive capacity, with the application of all preventive and precautionary measures, and the absorptive capacity of buses in educational facilities will be restored to 100%, with an emphasis on wearing a mask during the trip, and ventilation. Good on buses.
He stressed the continuation of the application of the medical examination, according to the approved protocol for the operation of educational facilities during the pandemic, in addition to leaving the distance of separation, provided that it is safe, to avoid physical cohesion.
Al-Mansoori said: “With regard to events related to educational facilities, the protocol also indicates that parents are allowed to attend them, while adhering to preventive measures, in addition to working on the green traffic system, and a laboratory PCR examination that does not exceed 96 hours, and the obligation to wear a mask, and all educational facilities will be monitored on At the state level, to ensure the application of precautionary and preventive measures by the competent authorities, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
