"The government has allocated 21 million hryvnia ($ 797 thousand) to the State Border Service of Ukraine for the engineering and technical development of the state border," the Ministry of Economy of the country said in a statement.
It is noted that the decision was made in order to strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine.
The funds will be allocated from the state budget reserve fund.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar said that the Ukrainian army is in constant readiness to defend itself.
