Maas spoke about the condition for establishing a dialogue between the EU and Belarus

As he noted after the meeting of the EU Council at the level of foreign ministers, the European Union will be ready to return to dialogue with Minsk when the Belarusian authorities will make concessions.

“We would like Minsk to make concessions.

If this happens, then we in the EU will discuss what to do next ... If the corresponding signals are received, we will take them into consideration.

At the moment I hear statements from Minsk, but I see no action.

At the same time, Maas added that the EU "will increase pressure on airlines" that facilitate smuggling. 

Earlier, the representative of the German Foreign Ministry Christopher Burger said that the German embassy in Minsk maintains contact with the Belarusian government on the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border.

On November 15, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Minsk was not interested in a conflict on the state border.
