From November 8 to 11, 2021, the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Party was successfully held in Beijing.

During the deliberation and approval of the "Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Party's Major Achievements and Historical Experience in a Century of Struggle", "Resolution on Convening the Twentieth National Congress of the Party", and "Communiqué of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China" Later, General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech on behalf of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee on studying and implementing the spirit of the plenary session.

In his important speech, the General Secretary specifically mentioned the "Cave Dwelling Pair" and profoundly summarized the two answers to this historical question by the Chinese Communists during their century of struggle.

Mr. Notes will study and understand with everyone.

According to the "Sidelights on the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party" published by Xinhua News Agency, General Secretary Xi Jinping specifically mentioned the "Cave Dwelling": Our party has such a long history, such a large scale, and has been in power for such a long time, how to break out of chaos The historical cycle rate of rise and fall?

Comrade Mao Zedong gave the first answer in the cave dwellings in Yan'an. This is "Only by letting the people rise up to supervise the government can the government dare not relax." The second answer came out, which is self-revolution.

The general secretary especially warned the whole party: "Our party has experienced a hundred years of brilliant achievements. There are many praises from inside and outside the party, at home and abroad. The more you do this, the more you must carry forward the spirit of self-revolution, and you must not lose yourself in the cheers."

The first answer comes from the cave dwellings in Yan'an.

In July 1945, in order to consolidate democratic unity and facilitate negotiations between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, Huang Yanpei and other 6 members of the National Political Committee visited Yan'an.

Although there are only five days, Huang Yanpei can't help feeling with the simplicity and stability of the CCP leaders and the democracy and harmony of red Yan'an: "What I saw in the middle of Yan'an on the 5th was of course very close to my ideals."

During the period, Comrade Mao Zedong asked Huang Yanpei what he thought.

Huang Yanpei said frankly: "I was born for more than sixty years. I don’t say what I heard and what I saw with my own eyes. It’s really so-called, "It’s also prosperous, and its death is sudden." In a place, or even in a country, many units do not have the dominance that can escape this cycle rate...A history, there are also people who have "politics lazy and successful", there are also people who have died and politics, and there are also people who "see for glory and disgrace." In short. No way out of this cycle rate."

Comrade Mao Zedong’s answer was simply and decisive: "We have found a new way, and we can jump out of this cycle. This new way is democracy. Only when the people are allowed to supervise the government can the government dare not slacken. Only when everyone rises to be responsible, can we not let go. People will die."

In Huang Yanpei's view, "This is right" because "Only by publicizing the affairs of every place to the people of every place, can the land win the people and everyone can win. Democracy is used to break this cycle. Rate, I’m afraid it’s effective.”

On August 10, 1945, Huang Yanpei published his book "Return of Yan'an" in Chongqing.

He wrote in the book: "I think the most precious spirit of CCP friends is to constantly be better, and to constantly strive for progress. This spirit is brought into full play, and hopes for the future are unlimited."

Some people discourage him from writing books to promote the Communist Party, so as to avoid personal danger.

He said frankly: "I just used a simple pictorial style to memorize what I saw, heard and talked straightforwardly, absolutely without exaggeration, but at a glance, I felt that the Communist Party was completely serving the people."

After a hundred years of struggle, especially the new practice since the 18th National Congress of the Party, our party has given a second answer, which is self-revolution.

The most difficult thing for a political party is that it has gone through the vicissitudes of life without changing its original aspirations, and has gone through hardships without changing its true qualities.

General Secretary Xi Jinping once clearly and profoundly pointed out: "It is not easy for a Marxist party to seize power, and it is even more difficult for a Marxist party to consolidate power. As long as there is no problem with the Marxist party in power, there will be no major problems in the socialist country. Why, its death also suddenly's historical cycle rate."

Along the way, from finding the "new road to democracy" to insisting on the "two musts", to keeping in mind the "initial mission" and advancing "self-revolution", generations of Chinese communists have adhered to the spirit of self-revolution and ensured that the party does not degenerate. Discoloration and no change in taste solve the problem of "historical cycle rate".

The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the party’s ability to self-purify, improve, renovate, and improve itself has been significantly enhanced in terms of strict governance of the party since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It was fundamentally reversed, the anti-corruption struggle was overwhelmingly won and consolidated in an all-round way, and the party became stronger in the revolutionary forging.

Summarizing the historical experience of the Chinese Communist Party for a century of struggle, one of the most important is to persist in self-revolution.

Now, the party has united and led the Chinese people on a new road to achieve the second centenary goal. The whole party must bear in mind that it is born in trouble, died in comfort, always has a long-term view, and is prepared for danger, and continues to promote the new era of party building. The great project of the People’s Republic of China insists on administering the party strictly in an all-round way, unswervingly advancing the construction of party style and clean government and the fight against corruption, so that it is difficult and unbreakable to promote the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
