Tesla CEO Elon Musk has criticized Senator Bernie Sanders, a leading liberal in the United States, who has called for a wealth tax.

"We must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share," Sanders wrote on Twitter, according to Fox Business.

Musk commented here, mocking "I kept forgetting that you were still alive."

Musk and Sanders also had an online haggling in March.

At the time, Sanders called Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos "immoral greed", claiming that they owned more than the bottom 40% of Americans.

In response, Musk countered that the money earned from Tesla stock would be used for the human migration to the moon and Mars, which is being pursued by space exploration company SpaceX.
