"A pre-investigation check is being carried out on the fact of the negligence of the officials of the colony of the settlement, as a result of which the convict escaped from the Volosov interdistrict hospital," RIA Novosti is quoted as saying.

Earlier, the FSIN in the Sverdlovsk region reported the arrest of a man who escaped from correctional colony No. 12 in Nizhny Tagil.
