Opening four years after the resolution: A Dorint Hotel opens in Bad Vilbel on Monday, it is the sixth operation of the Dorint Group in the Rhine-Main area.

The hotel restaurant, a French brasserie called Moulins, is, as the operators point out, open to everyone and is intended to help integrate the house into the community.

In 2017, the Bad Vilbel city council decided on the design of the western spa park.

At that time, it was decided to renovate the Kurhaus, build a new town hall and build a hotel.

For this, the city sold almost 4,000 square meters of the spa park area to a family of investors from Rüsselsheim, who, according to their own statements, invested a good 30 million euros in the project, for which Dorint was named as operator from the start.

Moulins and the sister in France

The director of the new hotel is Sven Näser, who previously worked in Bad Brückenau.

The hotel has three daylight event rooms with 162 square meters;

the neighboring town hall, which has a hall of around 1,000 square meters, is due to open in the middle of next year.

The Moulins restaurant refers to the commune's sisterhood with a place of the same name in France.

The chef is Jerome Brecht, he and his staff stand in an open so-called show kitchen.

The menu includes classics such as Boeuf Bourguignon, but also a burger.

The restaurant can be reached directly from the spa gardens.

There are 80 seats on the terrace and 144 seats inside, the park can be seen from every seat, promises the director (Niddastraße 1, phone: 0 61 01/6 55 60, noon daily from 12 noon to 2 p.m., in the evening daily from 6 p.m. Open on).
