Coronavirus infection is spreading again in Europe.

In the Netherlands and Austria, where the number of new infections per day is the highest ever, there are moves to re-tighten regulations such as limiting the opening hours of restaurants.

On the 11th of this month in the Netherlands, the number of new infections per day exceeded 16,000 for the first time, the highest ever.

It is estimated that more than 80% of people over the age of 12 have already been vaccinated, but the Dutch government has tightened regulations again from the 13th, saying that it is necessary to reduce contact between people.

In addition to restaurants, stores selling daily necessities such as supermarkets and pharmacies will be open until 8:00 pm, and other stores will be open until 6:00 pm, and this measure will be continued until at least the 4th of next month.

Also in Austria this month, the number of new infections per day exceeded 10,000, the highest ever, and the government is tightening regulations on unvaccinated people.

From the 8th of this month, in principle, the use of restaurants will be limited to those who have been vaccinated, and from the 15th, people who have not been vaccinated in some states will go out unnecessarily except for going to hospitals. More stringent measures are expected to be implemented to limit the number of people, and expansion of these measures nationwide is also being considered.
