13 Young Emirati Leaders Graduate from the "Future Pioneers" Program

The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government organized today a graduation ceremony for the first batch of the "Future Pioneers" program, which includes 13 young Emirati leaders in the Department of Finance in the Government of Dubai.

The graduation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Saleh Al Saleh, Director General of the Department of Finance in the Government of Dubai, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, and officials from both sides.

The professional diploma program in preparing youth leaders, which is held under the slogan "Future Pioneers", focuses on developing national competencies in the Department of Finance, aiming to qualify elite leaders to assume future leadership positions in the department, thus contributing to achieving its goals and strategic directions.

His Excellency Abdul Rahman Saleh Al Saleh, Director General of the Department of Finance in the Government of Dubai, congratulated the department’s graduates, all of whom had successfully completed the graduation requirements in the program, expressing the Department of Finance’s pride in them and the hope that they constitute a strong starting point towards a more prosperous future in the government finance sector.

He expressed his hope for the continuation of constructive cooperation with the college, given what he described as "the vital role it plays in supporting the march of progress and development witnessed by Dubai and the UAE at all levels."

The college had launched the "Future Pioneers" program in its first batch, which was designed to integrate with the current work commitments of the graduates, taking into account the requirements for future progress in the career path of the associates, who enable the program to apply what they learn in it immediately.

The learning stages in the program were led and implemented by a group of specialized lecturers from the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, in addition to experts from outside the college, who covered various academic and applied fields.

The program included ten main themes: the importance of leadership thought in facing challenges;

Governance and strategic planning: needs and aspirations, and recent trends in anticipating the future and government excellence.

In addition to recent trends in creativity, innovation and accelerators;

institutional agility in government administration;

Managing projects and teams.

In addition to emotional intelligence;

problem-solving and decision-making skills;

effective communication skills as well as staff management and development;

The executive project, and field visits to review the best practices, played a positive role in building the capabilities of Emirati cadres for the department.
