A man was arrested this morning in the Sanchinarro neighborhood after attacking several people, ramming several vehicles with his cars, hitting a pedestrian and causing panic among parents who took their children to the Valdefuentes school in Ana de Austria street in Madrid.
The arrested man is a 43-year-old man who is accused of the crimes of coercion, attempted murder, assault on authority, gross disobedience and threats.
The events occurred around 08.57 am on Ana de Austria Street near Francisco Pi y Margal Street.

The detainee argues with two people whom he assaults at the door of a bar.
He threatens passersby and starts running to his car.

At that moment, the National Police arrived and tried to make the man stop.
He tries to run over the agents and flees in the direction of Ana de Austria street where there is a vehicle stopper due to the proximity of the Valdefuentes school.
The fugitive is trapped in the traffic jam and starts hitting and ramming cars to try to escape.
While on the run he runs over a man who suffers leg injuries.
Finally, he is stopped by the agents.
He has no police record and it is also believed that he could have consumed alcoholic beverages.
