Investigative Committee opened a murder case over the death of a prisoner in a colony in the Saratov region

“Criminal cases have been initiated on the grounds of crimes under Part 1 of Art.

105 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Murder") and Part 2 of Art.

293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence") ", - said in the message.

According to the Investigative Committee, on November 12, in IK-7 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Saratov region, located in the city of Krasnoarmeysk, a 44-year-old prisoner during a conflict with a 41-year-old convict stabbed him in the shoulder area.

As specified, the victim died from the received wound.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened seven criminal cases on the facts of torture of prisoners in the Saratov region.
