On Monday, November 8, a woman was found dead in an apartment in Falköping and the police quickly suspected that she had been murdered.

The woman, who is in her 40s, had then been missing since relatives and colleagues could not get in touch with her.

Police had been searching for the woman since Saturday, November 6.

On Sunday, the now detained man was arrested, then on suspicion of kidnapping.

When the woman was found dead on Monday, the criminal classification was changed.

The woman's hometown, Floby, is now in shock and grief.

For several days, memorial services are held for the mother of two in Floby parish home.

- There is a kind of wordless grief that we share in there, says Stefan Klint, pastor who was present when the family for three days met grieving relatives, friends and flobyby residents in the Church house.

Suspected man arrested

A man in his 40s is in custody on probable suspicion of having murdered the woman.

- He admits that there has been a riot between him and the plaintiffs.

But he denies murder, because he does not remember how the plaintiffs died, the man's lawyer Fatima Söderqvist said during the arrest hearing, to P4 Skaraborg.

The man has previously been convicted of, among other things, aggravated arson.

The punishment then became forensic psychiatric care with a special discharge examination.
