She noted that after the non-working days announced by the President of Russia, the rate of increase in the incidence has decreased.

Golikova also said that the reason for the high daily mortality rates from coronavirus lies in the fact that Russian citizens do not comply with restrictive measures and "do not take preventive measures, which primarily include vaccination of the population."

Earlier it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers sent to the State Duma bills on the use of QR codes in public places and on some types of transport.

The bills submitted by the government to the State Duma say that the norms for QR codes will be valid until June 1, 2022.
