On the 11th, Henan Province added 12 newly confirmed local cases (6 in Zhengzhou City and 6 in Zhoukou City), and 1 newly-added local asymptomatic infection (Zhoukou City).
As of 12:00 on the 12th, a total of 17 local cases have been detected in this round of the epidemic in Zhoukou City, including 16 confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infection, all in Fugou County.
Zhoukou City held a press conference on the 12th, stating that Fugou County reported its first case on November 3, and the peak incidence was from the 7th to the 8th. The current epidemic situation is showing a downward trend.
The cases involved 10 students and 7 community populations, and they were clustered in the distribution area.
At present, the peak of the outbreak in Fugou County has passed, and the risk of transmission is controllable. There will be no large-scale outbreak in the future, but sporadic cases are not ruled out.
Two new cases were confirmed locally in Hebei Province on the 11th, both in Xinji City.
