It is well known that maintaining healthy skin and its youthful appearance depends to a large extent on healthy daily habits.

1- Excessive coffee consumption

Some people cannot start their day without a cup of coffee, but it has been shown that consuming a large amount of caffeine leads to dry skin, wrinkles and early signs of aging.

To mitigate the negative effect of caffeine on the skin, you should drink plenty of water.

2- Excessive showering with hot water

A hot bath helps to relax, but its repetition can harm the health of the skin, as hot water removes the layer of oils that protect the skin, causing dryness and irritation.

On the other hand, it is recommended to reduce the water temperature when showering and moisturize the skin with a moisturizer after showering.


3- Self-massage

Many beauty centers offer different massage sessions, but doing it the wrong way at home can exacerbate skin problems and increase wrinkles.

4- Skipping daily meals

Skipping one of your daily meals may have a negative impact on skin health.

A healthy and varied diet helps to provide the nutrients that the body needs in general, while maintaining the freshness and youth of the skin requires the inclusion of as many foods rich in antioxidants and vitamins as possible.


5- Apply a thick layer of cosmetics

The use of cosmetics causes damage to the skin in the long term, which is manifested in clogging the pores and increasing the risk of acne.

6- Sleeping on the face

Some people prefer to sleep on the stomach and embed the face in the pillow, but the contact of the face with the pillow leads to the appearance of early signs of aging, such as fine lines around the eyes and puffiness under them.

Not changing bed linen and pillows regularly causes skin irritation and pimples on the face.

7- Not cleaning the skin before bed

Many women ignore removing makeup from the face before going to sleep, and this bad habit often causes allergic rashes as well as acne.


8- Excessive consumption of sweets

Excessive intake of sugars is harmful to the health of the skin, as it becomes dry after damage to the elastin and collagen fibers.

9- False eyelashes

Putting on false eyelashes causes the eyelids to sag and fall out over time.

10- Not using sunscreen

Some people like to sunbathe, but exposure to UV rays without applying sunscreen causes skin pigmentation and premature aging.
