Ukraine has requested emergency assistance from the power systems of Slovakia

This is reported by "STRANA.ua" with reference to the statement of the Ukrainian energy company.

The reason for activating the help was the emergency shutdown of several units due to fistulas in the boilers.

Unit 9 was turned off at 04:14, and unit 4 of Burshtynskaya TPP at 08:24.

As a result, by 13:00, four TPP units were in emergency repair at once, and three more were in current repair.

There are only five blocks left in the work.

To cover the electricity needs of consumers in the zone of the “Burshtyn TPP Island”, NEK activated emergency assistance.

After the second unit was loaded to a power of 100 MW, emergency assistance was deactivated.

Earlier, Belarus, within the framework of the emergency assistance agreement, at the request of Ukraine, began supplying electricity to its energy system.
