The risk of developing myocarditis in young men vaccinated with Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine is higher than that of other vaccines, the company has officially acknowledged.

According to French statistics cited by Moderna, among men aged 12 to 29, Moderna vaccinated men had 13.3 cases of myocarditis per 100,000 people, while Pfizer vaccinated men had 2.7 cases per 100,000. 5 times more than Pfizer.

Moderna claimed that the number of breakthrough infections was lower than that of Pfizer or Janssen vaccines, and that the efficacy of Moderna's vaccine outweighs the risk of side effects.
