On Wednesday, the indictment came against three men who are suspected of having handled the drug with the aim of reselling it.

The men are all residents of the Baltics, and one of them, a man in his 40s, rented the villa at the address in Bodafors where the seizure was made.

The house must have served as an overnight home for drivers.

Through the worldwide police operation "Trojan Shield", the police in the county received information that the drug had arrived and in what area it could be found.

But it was only when one of the now accused men got stuck in a check for suspected drug driving that the police's attention was directed to the address in Bodafors.

Partially acknowledges

The amount of drugs means that the seizure is one of the largest made in Jönköping County.

Two of the men born in the 1990s are charged with a particularly serious drug offense and the man who lived at the address is charged with aiding and abetting a serious drug offense or preparation for a serious drug offense.

Two of the men admit parts of the incident while the third denies the crime.

Encrypted app

As evidence against the men, there is information about deliveries and quantities of drugs that the police found in the encrypted app Anom, during operation "Trojan Shield".

Under fictitious names such as "Speedsteel" and "Churchplant" information was sent between the men.

There are also pictures that link the men to different places.

The encrypted messaging service Anom was created by the FBI and has been used by hundreds of criminal organizations, while being monitored by police.

According to prosecutor Jessica Andersson, there is currently no indication that the home in Bodafors has been used for drug storage in the past.

The trial is set to begin on Monday, November 22nd.
