“Of course, the introduction of non-working days had a positive effect, and we still managed to break the chains of infections,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

On November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council, asked to report on the results of the introduction of additional non-working days and on further measures to combat COVID-19 in the country.

The Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region said that the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in the Moscow Region remains tense, but has stabilized over the past week, when non-working days were announced. 

Doctor-expert Timur Pesterev, in an interview with NSN, said that the better a person's state of health, the more imperceptibly he tolerates influenza, SARS or COVID-19.
