The Ministry of Defense told about the activity of the US military in the Black Sea

The defense department noted that the forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet are carrying out a set of measures to control the actions of the US Navy ships in the Black Sea.

"Since October 30, the US Navy's Porter guided missile destroyer has been in the Black Sea, on November 3, the US Navy's John Lenthall tanker entered, and the US Navy's headquarters ship Mount Whitney arrived on November 4," RIA Novosti reported.

In addition, on November 6, two US Air Force strategic bombers flew over the Black Sea at a distance of 100 km from the Russian state border.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the military exercises of NATO member countries in the Black Sea are associated with the desire to increase the policy of "containment" of Russia.
