- It is now possible to create 200 homes in central Halmstad.
The buildings will mainly be placed on the areas that are currently paved and built on, says Jenny Axelsson, municipal councilor and chairman of the committee.
The number of buildings depends on whether Kulturhuset is preserved or not, which is up to the private property owner.
The new detailed plan enables both the house to remain or to be demolished.
The final decision on the detailed plan will be made in the City Council on 14 December.
