This was announced by his lawyer, who read Saakashvili's letter.

“The staff (of the prison hospital) started pulling me out of the car.

After my refusal, they pushed me out by force, against the background of shouts and abuse of the criminals, they dragged me and hit me on the neck several times.

They dragged me by the hair, and, of course, at that time I resisted them, ”Saakashvili wrote.

According to the lawyer, the ex-head of Georgia refuses treatment in a prison hospital, does not take medicines and continues his hunger strike.

Earlier, the Georgian Ministry of Justice said that Saakashvili damaged medical equipment and insulted the clinic's staff.
