08 November 2021First at the US Congress in Washington, then at the London Parliament, then at the web Summit in Lisbon: the European tour of former Facebook data scientist Frances Haugen continues, with the stop in Brussels, which today leads to the European Union his testimony, with the aim of giving impetus to the regulatory proposals of the digital giants.



Haugen in Brussels will speak to MEPs from the European Parliament's Internal Market and Consumer Protection Commission, in association with other committees: Industry, Legal Affairs, Civil Liberties and the Special Commissions on Disinformation and Artificial Intelligence.



After the hearing, Haugen will make a press statement with the rapporteur for the Digital Services Act, the proposed law on digital services in the European Union, Christel Schaldemose.

In the following days, the former data scientist will be heard by the authorities in Paris.
