  With the theme of the intangible cultural heritage of Shanxi Province, this event held the "Beautiful Sanjin-Shanxi Intangible Heritage Taiwan Tour" photo exhibition.

Through 102 pictures, 45 sets of physical exhibits, 10 intangible cultural heritage micro-videos, and 3 performing arts videos, the intangible cultural heritage items such as Shanxi folk literature, traditional skills, traditional medicine culture, and folk customs are displayed.

  At the opening ceremony, Zhang Xu, president of the Chinese Cultural Friendship Association and the Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association, appealed through a video speech that the compatriots on both sides of the strait should continue to hold hands, connect their hearts, work together and unite forward, and jointly inherit and promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture. Deepen the integration and development of the two sides of the strait and inject a steady stream of impetus.

  Chen Chunlin, president of the Chinese Hanwei Cultural Promotion Association of Taiwan, said in a telephone interview with a reporter from China News Agency that the exhibits on that day surprised the public, and some visitors regret that the new crown epidemic has prevented non-genetic inheritors from coming to the site for communication.   It is understood that since the launch of the first cross-strait intangible cultural heritage month series in 2009, intangible cultural heritage from many provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) of the mainland have been unveiled on Treasure Island, providing a cultural feast for the people of Taiwan.

  This year the exhibition is co-sponsored by the Chinese Cultural Friendship Association, the Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Taiwan Human Culture and Education Foundation, and the Chinese Hanwei Cultural Promotion Association. The exhibition period ends on November 21.
