08 November 2021After lifting all restrictions last September, Denmark announces new measures in light of growing contagions. The National Outbreak Commission has recommended that the government classify the coronavirus as a "socially dangerous" disease.

According to Danish health leaders, it is necessary to reintroduce the "Corona pass, with selective criteria for accessing restaurants, museums and other closed places".

In Denmark, the green certification is called the "Corona pass", it is digital and must be presented to access indoor bars and restaurants and for business owners, to verify that the holder is vaccinated or has tested negative for Coronavirus.

In recent days, the number of infections in the country has steadily increased, reaching 2,300, from a low of just over 200 in mid-September.

The measure - presented by the government - will now have to go through Parliament's approval.
