A 66-year-old man died in a home for foreign workers in Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) on Sunday.

The national police had been alerted by occupants of the structure when a fight had broken out between two men.

It was finally municipal police officers who were dispatched to the scene and discovered the victim, reports

Several stab wounds

According to a source close to the case, the brawl was still ongoing when the officials arrived.

But by the time they reach the scene of the drama, one of the protagonists had succumbed to his injuries.

The other was also lying on the ground, seriously injured.

The two men are said to be part of the same family and the sixty-year-old has been stabbed several times.

The Hauts-de-Seine judicial police are responsible for the investigations.

She is expected to interview the suspect, who has been hospitalized, when his condition permits.
