Good news for some Parisian motorists.

According to

Le Parisien

, a malfunction in the computer system of parking meters in the capital in September and October generated a swarm of tickets (called post-parking passes) which should not have been issued.

Because motorists had paid for their parking.

The people concerned quickly received letters of cancellation of their minutes.

But some of them had already paid the PV for fear that it would be increased or that they could not dispute it.

The City of Paris has let it be known that they will not be penalized and will quickly receive an email to explain to them the process to be taken to be reimbursed.

To verify that it is indeed a letter from the town hall of Paris, all you have to do is make sure that it comes from this address: DVD-DDVP-DCS@paris.fr.
