Mohammed bin Zayed confirms the UAE's support for Iraq's efforts towards stability
Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, made a phone call with the brotherly Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Mustafa Al-Kazemi, during which he was assured of his safety and health following the heinous assassination attempt he was exposed to.
His Highness affirmed the UAE's stand and solidarity with Iraq in its endeavors towards stability, security and development in order to achieve a better future for its people, praying to God Almighty to protect Iraq and its people from all harm and grant it security and prosperity.
For his part, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi expressed his great thanks and appreciation to His Highness, for the sincere brotherly feelings he showed, praising the UAE's authentic historical positions in support of Iraq and its people in various circumstances.
The UAE had strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the residence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in the Green Zone in the capital, Baghdad.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of these terrorist acts that aim to destabilize security and stability in brotherly Iraq, and are inconsistent with moral and humanitarian values and principles.
The ministry expressed its solidarity and standing by brotherly Iraq in the face of terrorism, stressing the UAE's keenness to establish security and stability in it.
