Classes will be able to resume this Monday at the Val-des-Pins college, in Teich (Gironde).

Due to the contamination of several interior spaces and the significant proliferation of mold, the establishment was closed by prefectural decree, for a period from October 4 to November 7.

The analyzes carried out last October 28 showing the absence of fungal contamination, the reopening has been confirmed.

During this period, the department of Gironde carried out all the work prescribed according to the protocol established by the health authority, in particular the disinfection of the premises.

The first fungus in the establishment had been observed on August 24, by agents who were preparing for the start of the school year.

Six classes were closed initially, but mold quickly gained ground.
