Everything was a stunt to enter Spanish territory illegally.

In any case, this is what the authorities think about the incredible incident that occurred Friday evening at Palma de Mallorca airport, in the Balearic Islands.

At around 8 p.m., the Air Arabia Airbus, which linked Casablanca to Istanbul, had to land urgently when one of its passengers claimed to be suffering from a serious diabetic crisis.

But when the doctors got on board, about twenty passengers took the opportunity to get out on the tarmac and then flee, causing the closure of the Spanish airport for nearly four hours and the cancellation of about fifty flights.

The patient was taken to the emergency room, accompanied by a friend who also escaped from the hospital.

And the medical examination revealed that the diabetic was in fact perfectly healthy.

The Spanish police then arrested the imaginary patient and found eleven fugitives around the airport.

A dozen other people were still at large on Saturday, November 6 after what the country considers an unprecedented attempt to enter its territory.
