A serious traffic accident took place this Saturday morning rue du Bocage in Bordeaux.
At around 7 a.m., a 15-year-old boy of British nationality was hit by a car near the Parc bordelais.
Supported by the emergency services, he was hospitalized in very serious condition at the CHU Pellegrin.
It is not known for the moment if his vital prognosis is engaged.
The driver is a man who was leaving for work, specifies the Bordeaux prosecutor's office at
20 Minutes.
He stopped to warn the emergency services with another witness to the accident at the time of the incident.
He was heard by the police during the day.
He would not have tested positive for alcohol or drugs by the police.
He was not, moreover, taken into police custody.
For now, the Bordeaux prosecutor's office wishes to remain very cautious about the circumstances of the accident.
The investigation was entrusted to the Departmental Directorate of Public Security of the Gironde.
