May 30, 2018: Stabbing attack on an Intercity train in Flensburg, Germany. Two wounded, a man and a woman, both officers. The attacker, according to Bild, was shot dead by a gunshot fired by the policeman who reacted.



The spokesman for the Flensburg police confirms the intervention of the police following the attack with the knife. According to the reconstruction provided by the tabloid, the aggression broke out over a quarrel in the Intercity car number 10 traveling to Flensburg, in northern Germany. At the intervention of the police, the attacker would have reacted by attacking and injuring a policewoman, at which point the colleague, who was also injured, reacted by shooting and killed him. 



The railway station area has been isolated.

The train had left Cologne for Hamburg.

According to Bild, the attacker suddenly launched himself at the agents, who had to shoot him down.

A police spokesman said he did not "know" yet whether it was a terrorist act.
